54 Suicidal Schoolgirls Can't Be Wrong!
My Friday ended a helluva lot better than it started, considering I got my copy of "Suicide Circle" in the mail (thank you again, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

What can I say? This film has everything - fabulous death scenes (the schoolgirls jumping in front of a train was just the beginning!), 12-year-old j-pop chicks, even a cute Rocky Horror reject breaking spontaneously into song! Not to mention that scene with the daikon radish (I'm gonna be extra careful the next time I make a salad!).
Am I the only one that finds watching many of these Japanese films a little like the David Lynch experience? They make your senses scream, give you enough plot & visuals so that you can formulate your own theories as to the meaning of the story, but never quite give you everything, always leaving you wanting just that little bit more.
Art like that is a beautiful thing.
